Watch Sizing

If you have purchased a watch with a metal bracelet, there is a good chance you will have to have one or more links removed to fit your wrist properly. This can only be done with the wearer present.

We suggest you take your watch to a reputable local jeweler for sizing. Expect to pay a nominal fee (around $5-$10) for the service. Do not try to size your own watch! You may damage or scratch the watch and bracelet. TheWatchery.com will not accept a scratched or damaged watch return.

Please note: after the links are removed, keep the extra ones! Occasionally, a watch bracelet may break and it is a lot easier (and cheaper) to have it repaired with your own links than it is to order and ship new ones.

Once a watch has been sized, it may not be exchanged or returned for refund.

Do you charge sales tax?

Items shipped within New York State ONLY are charged with 8.625% sales tax. Sales tax is NOT applicable on orders shipped anywhere outside of New York State.

When will you ship my order?

If you’ve shopped with us in the past, you know that we do our best to ship items on the same day, if received and verified before 3pm EST. Whenever possible, we also like to send an email with your shipping notice and tracking information the evening after your item is shipped. But please don’t be surprised if your item arrives before our email does—especially around the holidays and during special sales.


Do you ship internationally?

TheWatchery.com ships to most international destinations via insured international priority FedEx or UPS. The price is only $59.95. If we are unable to ship to your destination with full insurance, we will contact you immediately prior to shipment.

Many countries charge a Value Added Tax (VAT) or a Goods and Services Tax (GST) on goods consumed or received in that country. Here is a table listing various VAT charges by country.


P.O. Boxes, APO and FPO orders

Orders to P.O. Boxes, APOs and FPOs are shipped using the US Postal Service, often causing considerable delays.


Signature Requirement

For your security, all orders require an authorized signature upon delivery. Please be sure that an adult authorized to sign for your package is available at the ship-to address. Your item will arrive via UPS or FedEx, and is fully insured during transit. We are unable to have packages held for pick up. Please be sure to have your order shipped to an address where an adult is available to sign upon delivery.


Order Changes and Cancellations

How do I change or cancel my order?
Because we try to ship orders very quickly, there is a limited amount of time during which we can modify or cancel your order. If you would like to modify or cancel your order, please email us at orders@TheWatchery.com and include your order number and change/cancellation request. If you would like to change your order, please specify which watch you would like to exchange it for.

We will respond to your email to let you know if we were able to modify or cancel your order of if it was already sent to shipping. Once you receive your order, you may contact us for a return authorization number to return your order per our return policy .


What can be returned?

All timepieces purchased from TheWatchery.com* may be returned in their original, unused condition for a full refund of the purchase price** minus shipping and handling (minimum $9.95) within 30 days from the date of delivery. All original factory tape, plastic protectors and stickers must be intact and never removed. Credit will be issued in the same form as payment received.

All our watches are 100% brand new and should keep accurate time. Please make sure to inspect your watch to see that it is in perfect working order before wearing or removing any tags or factory tape. Once a watch has had its tags removed or has been worn or sized we cannot accept a return. If, after wearing or sizing your watch, you notice that there is a mechanical problem, we will do our best to repair it under our warranty. We cannot accept the return of any watch that has been worn or sized under the premise that it was received that way. It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect the watch upon receipt to ensure that it is in perfect working order, before wearing.

How do I return a watch?

If you would like to return a watch please
contact us for the mailing address and for your Return Authorization No. (RA#). This number must be boldly displayed on the outside of the box. A watch returned without a pre-assigned RA# clearly written on the outside of the box will not be accepted. In order to process your return, you must include our return form ( download here ).

Returns must be shipped via prepaid insured traceable delivery (for e.g. UPS or FedEx). Please note: FedEx does not insure watches valued above $500. If your watch is valued above that amount please use an alternate shipping method.

The tracking number for your return must be emailed to us upon shipment.

All shipping and handling costs in connection with returns are the responsibility of the customer.

All returns and exchanges are subject to an inspection by the Returns Department to ensure that the watch is unworn and retains its original tags, plastics, box and manual before we process your refund or exchange request.

All items shipped to any address outside the United States are considered a final sale and cannot be returned.


How do I return a gift?

If you are purchasing a watch as a gift and you are in need of an extension please contact us prior to purchasing. If you received a watch as a gift, contact us with the name of the purchaser and we will do our best to arrange a return.

Warranty

Our warranty covers the watch movement and battery replacement for two years from the date of purchase and excludes watch case, bracelet, straps, crown/stem, crystal/glass, finishes, damage caused by excessive wear-and-tear and/or physical abuse and damage resulting from wear under conditions exceeding the watch manufacturer's water resistance limitations.

Please make sure to inspect your watch to see that it is in perfect working order before wearing or removing any tags or factory tape. All our watches are 100% brand new and should keep accurate time. Once a watch has had its tags removed or has been worn or sized we can only repair the watch if needed and send it back to you. However, we cannot accept it as a return for a refund.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty is valid only at TheWatchery.com. Improper repair or warranty service performed by someone other than TheWatchery.com will void this warranty. TheWatchery.com disclaims any liability for consequential or incidental damages for breach of written or implied warranty of this watch, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.


What should I do if my watch breaks?

Please read our warranty policy . If the damage is covered in the warranty, please contact us by email at repairs@thewatchery.com or by phone at 1-866-843-9282 and press 2, a customer service representative for information on how to have it repaired.


How do I send my watch for repairs?

If you have been advised by TheWatchery to send your watch in for repairs, you will be given a Return Authorization No. (RA#) to be boldly displayed on the outside of the box. Repairs should be sent by prepaid insured traceable mail courier. The tracking number for your return must be emailed to us upon shipment. Shipping and insurance costs for warranty returns to The Watchery are the responsibility of the customer.
